History of Carmel School Kuwait
Carmel School in Kuwait is a private Catholic institution that welcomes students of all religious backgrounds. Established in 1969 by the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel, who operate numerous educational institutions across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, the school is recognized by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in New Delhi. It is managed by the Registered Society of the Congregation of the Apostolic Carmel, India. The school prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE/Class X) and the All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE/Class XII).
The medium of instruction is primarily in English, with Hindi as a mandatory second language until the fifth grade, after which students can choose French. Arabic is taught as a third language from first till the eighth grade.
