"Celebrating Excellence: Carmel School’s Aaron Sanju Wins Bronze at CBSE Nationals"
Carmel School, Kuwait, is thrilled to announce that our student, Aaron Sanju Thomas of class 12, has won the bronze medal in the Individual Championship(under 19 mixed category) at the CBSE National Level , Chess Tournament, held at La Blossom School, Jalandhar between 25th October to 28th October. Aaron was part of a four-member team that included his schoolmates R Chenul Methsuka Ranasinghe Chenul (class 11), Rose Sanju Thomas (class 10), and Ezhil Aadhav (class 9) , who all represented Carmel School with dedication and skill.
This accomplishment is a moment of pride for our school, as it marks the first individual medal at the nationals after a long time. Aaron’s remarkable achievement highlights his talent, discipline, and passion for chess, setting a strong example for aspiring players within our school community.
Our principal, Sister Saritha, has been a steadfast supporter of our students' aspirations. She personally ensured that all necessary arrangements for their travel were in place. Sister Saritha was keen to see Carmel School represented on a national platform, believing firmly in the talents of these young chess players.
We congratulate Aaron and his fellow team members, along with their parents, for their support and encouragement. A special note of appreciation goes to our Physical Education department for their constant guidance in helping our students reach new heights in sports.
